This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished educational leader to join the Executive Leadership Team as the Head of Primary. This position is ideal for a passionate professional eager to shape the future of education and make a lasting impact on young students’ lives. The successful candidate will be crucial to the strategic direction and success of Freshwater, bringing strong leadership skills and educational expertise. You will be an effective communicator, able to efficiently and effectively manage the Primary School, with the ability to make informed decisions. As an active leader, you will be able to build a strong sense of community, upholding high ethical standards and serving as a role model. Additionally, you will encourage innovation and creativity, embrace new ideas, and promote an inclusive, equitable environment.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A mature Christian faith, with a heart to serve in an active Christian community
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum development, assessment and reporting, with strong understanding of current educational practices related to student learning and pastoral care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to inspire and mentor staff, and develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community
- Effective skills in decision-making, strategic thinking, conflict-resolution and change management, with the ability to identify and implement improvements
Leadership in all aspects of primary school operations including timetabling and staff management, with the ability to effectively prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines
QCT registration is essential – additional relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
