Flourish: Women Leading With Faith, Compassion, and Courage

Join us for an inspiring symposium with insightful speakers sharing their own stories to draw out the wisdom in the room. This is a day to celebrate women who lead and serve with Christ-centred courage, and support each other as we wrestle with common struggles in each of our schools.

Throughout the Scriptures, we see evergreens used as an image of flourishing individuals, learning communities, and even whole societies. ‘Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green’ (Jeremiah 17:7–8).

Great picture, right? But in reality, many women leaders in education feel the heat of competing demands from work and home, pressed for time and sapped for energy as they seek a tap-root drawing from Christ as the living water. Only when we stand together in our common faith can we be strong, confident to step-up and become mature leaders, and nourished to thrive through every season with compassion for ourselves and those we lead.

Together we’ll explore how faith shapes resilience, empowers influence, and fosters flourishing communities. Through stories, practical wisdom, and shared prayer, participants will be equipped to grow professionally and spiritually, strengthening their calling as teachers, mentors, and leaders in Christian education.
