About OSCH & Vacation Care Program:

Before and After School Care is provided to students from Prep to Year 6, the OSCH venue is situated on  Parklands Christian College campus.

The Vacation Care program is open to children who attend the college. This service is offered during the school holiday periods for students from prep up to year 6. Vacation care includes excursions, incursions, and themed-based days on campus.

About the Role:
OSCH Facilitators/Playleaders – casual and part time employment opportunities

  • Experience with electronic platforms
  • Supervising primary school children in outdoor and indoor activities
  • Assisting other staff in engaging in programs that are both fun and educational
  • Setting up outside of school clubs and activities as required
  • Assist with planning and implementation of developmentally appropriate programs in consultation with the Service Coordinator
  • The ability to develop relationships with families, children, colleagues and the wider community

The successful candidate must have:

  • An active Christian faith
  • Preferably the applicant will have Completed a Diploma or cert IV in school age education
  • Strong understanding of early years learning framework and National Quality Standards
  • A current Working with children – Blue Card
  • A first aid certificate, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Good availability to be able to work a variety of shifts, often at short notice
